Experts In Fire Safety Training Since 2009

Fire Warden/Marshal Course

Our 3-hour Fire Warden/Marshal course provides the necessary information and practical training to ensure your fire wardens have the knowledge and skills to fulfil their roles and responsibilities within your organisation.

Who Is The Course For?

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the “responsible person” to appoint one or more competent individuals to assist in implementing fire prevention and protection measures, often carried out by Fire Wardens/Marshals.

In addition to dedicated Fire Wardens, you may also wish to send other staff members to enhance their knowledge of fire safety.

Our Fire Warden course meets the requirements of the Fire Safety Order concerning your legal duties to train ‘competent individuals’.

Where Can I Attend The Course?

The course is run at your place of work, or can be arranged locally for you.

Duration Of Course

The Fire Warden Course is approximately 3 hours.

Typically involves a 2-hour classroom-based theory session, followed by a 30-minute practical session on fire extinguisher use.

Finally, there is a short multiple-choice test and course feedback.

This is to ensure delegates have understood the key aspects of the training.

Course Requirements

Theory sessions take place in a suitable meeting room, training room, or lounge.

The practical session takes place in a suitable outside area (approximately the area of three car parking spaces) away from buildings.

We will bring all appropriate training equipment (including fire extinguishers).

Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn.

Cost

£450 (This is the total cost of the course, not per individual) – no VAT to pay

All delegates receive a certificate after completing the training

It is recommended to have a yearly refresher
